Scott's sister Lisa needs our prayers. Last year she had a foster baby (almost from birth) that they had hoped to adopt. The baby was placed back with her biological father and Lisa and the rest of our family was devastated. Last night she was killed, Arie was 15 months old. Please pray, by all accounts she was Lisa's soul baby. Our families on both sides, and us as well seem to have been going through it the past year 1/2. But the Lord is faithful and He is not surprised by any of it. I trust that He will by our Comfort and our Guide.

I grieve with your family. As a foster parent, I know that every baby that comes "home" is treasured by the family with nothing held back, loved no less than a child born into the family through biologic means.
Please let them know I am in prayer for them.
Wow, that is so sad. I will pray for them!! That has got to be tough.
