We are going to SC on Friday. The pastor's wife at the church where we were at in Summerville passed away on Tuesday. She was in a car accident right before she got to her driveway. It is very tragic. Scott and I and the girls will be driving. The funeral is on Sunday. She was a great example of a Godly woman and she will be missed. I tend to take for granted that I will just see people the next time when in fact, we are not guaranteed a next time.

I know this will be a hard trip for you and Scott, but I also know our Lord will strengthen you and enable you both to be His Loving Arms extended to some very hurting friends. We may not be guaranteed to see someone we love a next time here on earth but our hope and the Good News is there WILL be a next time when we belong to Jesus...it may be delayed a bit more than we would like but we will have eternity together and I am so grateful for that!!! =) We will be praying for you as you travel and as you minister to your friends through these next days. Please give my love & hugs to Laura and Cindy (she has especially been on my heart).
