The fireworks, Friday night, were a huge hit with both girls. Scott loaded up the truck with a foam cushion, some blankets, and pillows. I grabbed the snacks and a couple of toys for the wait and we took off to Dr. Pepper Park. That's where the minor league baseball team here in Frisco plays. It's across from the mall so Scott backed up into two parking spaces so we could get the perfect angle and we climbed into the bed of the truck and waited for the show. I didn't think of the fact that the fireworks were after a baseball game. Baseball games don't have a set ending time. The show was scheduled for 9:30. The game got over just before 10. But both girls were still going strong so we waited. It was worth it. Myah stood and clapped the whole time. She even tried to jump up and down. She wasn't scared a bit by the loud booms. Madeline was more interested in her fun dip candy (pure sugar) at first but she got into it when they sent off some "Boo sized" ones. (That means Madeline sized - we call her Boo). It was our first time to actually go see a fireworks show as a family. It was a blast!

Glad you each had a great time! I hope you got some pictures of the girls and their reactions...especially Myah clapping and trying to jump!! Had Madeline seen fireworks before?
Missing you much!
Lots of Love, Mom
