It's Monday. Monday is our day to breath. Yesterday Scott left at 7:15 for church. The girls and I made it out at 8:20. We were only 5 minutes late to service. =) After the 3 services we had a meeting at 1 for kids camp.

Next Sunday through Wednesday we take 100 kids to camp. This is what our summer is all about. It is so much fun to see the kids playing and having fun during the day and excited about service at night. We have our kids split into four services every weekend so when they are all together in one service at it is amazing. There is nothing in this world like seeing the innocence of children as they enter into God's presence and worship. They don't have the distractions of TV, movies, game boys, cell phones, and all the things that aren't necessarily bad for them but divide their attention. It's great.

Back to our Sunday. Left to go to lunch around 2 with our Clanton friends to a place called Babes - homestyle fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, beans, and best of all - the rolls. It was filling.

Went back to the church and of course my girls did not nap while Emma and Jade did. Chid care for life groups started 4. I had a baby shower at 5 (made it at 5:20 - I absolutely hate being late but I had to be at church til 4:50 and the shower was across town). Julie made the best blackberry tea - I usually don't like flavored tea but it tasted so sweet.

Pulled into the church at 6:50 - Scott had a men's night out with the guys from church at 7. He and Eric left for that about 7:05. Danielle and I pulled out with the gas tank on E and of course went out of our way to save 11 cents a gallon. Apparently the $2.20 I saved adds up to $50 over the year so I will continue going a mile out of my way!

Anyway - swung by her house to get some things she needed and pulled into my house around 7:45. The girls, amazingly, played well even though MJ hadn't napped more than 20 minutes. However, Madeline and Emma did cover the downstairs in tape since MJ is obsessed with the stickiness of it.

Ended up in bed around 12:30. The good news is, after only letting her cry one night, Myah slept through the night with no 4 o'clock bottle!

So you can see that on Mondays - we just breath. (And mow the grass - which Scott is doing right now) =)
