Earlier today Madeline scraped her finger on a tape dispenser. I knew that it hurt because she didn't cry she just had a real concerned quietness about her. When it doesn't really hurt she gets pretty dramatic with the crying. This evening I gave her a bath with Myah. By this time she had started fussing about her scrape. She wouldn't put her finger in the water. It was all very dramatic. Well, Myah loves the water and got very excited when she saw her reflection in the silver overflow thing. She was bouncing up and down and hit her head on the faucet. She didn't cry a bit and I mentioned to my mom, who is in town, that Myah is pretty tough and doesn't fuss much when she falls or gets bonked on the head. Madeline pipes up with "Yeah, I'm pretty tough too I don't fuss at all when I have an ouchy!" I thought this was hilarious because two minutes ago she had been hollering about her finger getting wet! I love the things she comes up with!
