Last night I put Madeline to bed. It was late because it was a church night. She's laying in her bed and I'm sitting next to her. We are deep in conversation about what she learned in Rainbows. She told me her memory verse. It was about prayer, so I said "OK you pray tonight." She yells at the top of her lungs, "Look Mommy - I'm a Y!" She had her legs spread apart and her arms down by her side. Needless to say - I prayed, while trying not to laugh at my adorable 3 year old! Sometimes I wonder if we do that to God. He's deep in conversation with us trying to teach us something and we discover that we left the window down in the truck and it's raining or that the dryer is buzzing and we better take care of it. Sometimes we are distracted as easily as a three year old! =)
