Today I ate lunch with smashed bread. Tuesday evening I took the girls to Kroger's before we went to church. Scott was out of town but we needed milk and bread. Myah's drinking milk now. I handed the bread to Madeline, who was sitting in the back of the cart. I gave her a few other things I needed for mom's group tomorrow: salsa (which ended up in the diaper bag - I did find it before we checked out) candy corn (which she immediately wanted to open and eat) and white almond bark to melt over pop corn - so yummy. After I handed her the candy corn she apparently didn't hear another thing because the bread was getting smashed and I said, "Madeline, be careful not to smash the bread!" I looked away to grab Myah some peaches and green beans. Which took a moment because the cost of green beans has gone up about $ .40 since the last time I had bought them at Kroger. Anyway I look back and Madeline has the bread in both hands smashing away! I holler, "Stop! What are you doing smashing the bread?" "Mommy you told me 'smash the bread'" I replied, "Madeline I said DON"T smash it. Why on earth would we want smashed bread?" "I don't know mommy!" So I bought it because I would have felt bad putting it back since it was smashed on purpose. We finally make it out of the store and on the way to the truck, some how, Madeline's boody ended up sitting right on that loaf of bread! So today we had a good laugh while we ate our smashed tuna sandwiches - yes she does indeed love tuna sandwiches!

You didn't tell me about the bread and it's "condition" when you told me Madeline was eating a tuna sandwich while we were talking the other day on the phone....how funny!!!! I'm still laughing as I can see her diligently smashing the bread for you!!! She is very obedient!!!! =)
Have a blessed day!
I love the pictures of Friday's adventures...thanks for sharing them with us!
