We have been crazy busy this summer. That's my excuse for not blogging more often! We found out that we are having a boy! Not sure what we're naming him, but it'll be fun.
Right before our kid's camp Scott found out that his Pappy wasn't going to make it much longer. We went ahead with our camp. It was amazing! Scott did such a great job running it and speaking at it at the same time. Although we are opting to bring in speakers next year! Watching the kids seek God was moving. There's nothing like that light bulb going on in a kid's head when they realize that God loves them as an individual.
After camp Scott flew out to PA to be with his family. My mom, the girls and I left for FL. It was a fun road trip! The girls did great and Mimi entertained them for 22 hours! We got to stop and see my mom's aunt ~ Aunt Sarah. I am so glad my girls got to meet her. We were in FL for two weeks. Scott was working one of the weeks and I got to hang out with my College Roomy, Crys, and it was a blast! We hadn't seen each other in four years. Madeline got to go to Gaterland, and it made her summer - she's obsessed with gators. Myah learned a new word "nack" or "snack" as most of us say. We got to spend time with Scott's family. We finally beat his parents at Spades. That was fun! We got back and hit the ground running, but we were ready to be home and back into a routine.
Madeline starts pre-k in a few weeks. One more year before kindergarten. Although she'd rather go this year. Myah's almost completely potty trained! I love not having poopy diapers (at least for a couple of months!).
