Well - we have made it through another weekend full of laughter. Sunday a family was over with several boys. Madeline is not used to playing with boys. She, and 9 other kids, were outside with our giant dog Tank, playing fireman with our hose. Apparently, she was in danger of the fire because one of the young boys was dangling it over her head, "saving her." Well, another young boy decided it would be more fun if the hose was on. It was 60 degrees. (NOT warm enough for the hose to be on). She came tearing into the kitchen, grabbed a cup, filled it with water, all the time yelling "I'm going to get That Garrison wet" at the top of her three year old lungs. So the chase began. I caught her, nearly dousing myself with her cup full of water, just as she reached Garrison. I then realized she was soaking wet herself. And then I slowly extracted the story from the young boys standing there looking sheepish. Of course the funny thing was, if I had known that Garrison had doused her with the hose I sure would have let her fling that cup of water on him! (It was a small cup anyway). So that was the day that Madeline (and Emma and Jade) learned how to play with BOYS!!

Madeline, it sounds like you had lots of fun learning to play "fireman!!!" That was really quick & good thinking to get a cup of water to pour on them!! =) I think you should have poured it on the boy who turned on the hose!! You'll have to have your Mommie teach you a few tricks she learned from her brothers ~ so you'll be ready for playing with those boys next time!! =) I think you'll do just fine playing with boys, too.!! =)
I sure miss you and Myah!! Give each other some hugs & kisses for me!
Lots of Love and hugs & kisses,
Mimi
Audrey plays with boys more often than she does girls. Now she doesn't know if her favorite toys are dolls or dinosaurs! When I read your stories about Madeline I crack up and can't help thinking that Audrey and Madeline would get along great!
