Today I was peacefully putting clean clothes away (not that I ever put away dirty clothes) when all of a sudden I realized Myah was being quiet. This is a major red flag. I looked around my room only to see her standing with one foot on Scott's alarm clock and the other dangling in the air. Her arm was stretched as far as it could go, reaching for a water bottle (another fascination of hers). She was successful! She sat and played with that water bottle for about 5 minutes. (Pretty good for a 10 mth old). Of course I tried to remain calm since she was only a few inches off the ground. 

Madeline and I do school during Myah's first nap of the day. Today we worked on the letter's T and U, which were pretty easy for her. Her other book was short e (hen, tent, bench...) (Some of you have been out of pre-k for a while) All she wanted to do was the letter G. She loves it. So I had to bribe her to do her first ever crossword puzzle (it had pictures) with being able to write "G" afterwards. In other words - I wouldn't let her write "G" on the page until she had finished writing the short e words in the puzzle. Just in case you think our 3 year old is a genius - I did have to tell her how to spell the words. She's just learning sounds of letters now. She's a lot of fun to teach. Although, I usually hear this everyday: "OK Mom - I'll show YOU how to write it -"
