It's amazing that at four years old, Madeline, and at three years old, Alex, realize that every good story needs a conflict. They are playing princess polly pockets. So far the pollies have been in jail for hitting, in time out for biting and asking for candy, in trouble for not sharing and back in time out for being bad guy mommies. The good news is there was resolution to the story - Cinderella and Prince Charming danced away at their wedding to the tune of preschoolers singing "Joy to the World the Lord has come" and they lived happily ever after! Just for the record: I'm not sure where the jail thing came from and no one has gone to time out asking for candy. And since I wouldn't let them pretend the bad guy was satan I guess bad guy mommies were the next best thing. =) (Myah's sitting in her high chair taking it all in and playing with her own little people that haven't experienced jail yet - although they have experienced time outs and "no, no's")
